This bag is one months supply for an average cat. Make sure the litter box is clean and epmty. Fill the box with 1 to 2 inches of "LITTER STAR". However, if using this product for larger or multiple cats, change the litter more frequently. To get your cat acquainted with this new litter, you may want to mix some "LITTER STAR" with a small portion of your previous brand cat litter.
